WatchOut, LLC Terms of Use
Last updated: September 18, 2026
Agreement to these terms
WatchOut, LLC ("WatchOut," "we," "us") is a Wisconsin limited liability company based in Monroe, Green County. These Terms of Use cover our website, bookings, events, open play sessions, leagues and programs (together, the "Services"). By booking, registering for or taking part in the Services, or by using our website, you agree to these terms. If you book on behalf of a group, you agree to them for the group and confirm that its participants, or their parents or guardians, agree too.
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. The version in effect when you book applies to that booking.
1. Our services
WatchOut runs mobile, instructor-led active games: gunless laser tag (ZTAG) and traditional laser tag. We bring the equipment to a gym, park, backyard or other space you provide, or host sessions in a space we rent. Services include private parties and events, school and community events, open play sessions and leagues (including leagues run with partner organizations such as the Green County YMCA, which may have their own registration terms).
We also help design and install backyard mini golf courses. Each of those projects is governed by its own written quote or agreement, together with these terms.
2. Who can take part
• Our games are designed for ages 6 and up. Younger children may take part if a parent or guardian aged 18 or over stays with them throughout.
• Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian's permission, and a parent or guardian must sign the participant waiver on their behalf.
• Adults are welcome to play, and we run adult-only events.
3. Participant waiver
Every participant must have a signed WatchOut participant waiver before playing. For minors, a parent or guardian signs. Laser tag and ZTAG involve running, quick changes of direction and moving around obstacles, so there is a risk of slips, falls, collisions and similar injuries. The waiver describes these risks. Participants who do not have a signed waiver may not play.
4. Safety and conduct
• Participants must follow the rules and instructions given by WatchOut staff at all times.
• We may pause a game, or remove anyone from an event, for unsafe, aggressive or disruptive behavior. No refund is owed in that case.
• Our equipment uses infrared signals; nothing is fired and nothing makes contact. Participants must not throw, drop, open, modify or misuse equipment.
• Damage: the person who booked is responsible for loss of, or damage to, our equipment caused by misuse or by not following instructions, beyond normal wear and tear.
• If the customer provides the venue, the customer is responsible for having permission to use it and for its condition being reasonably safe for active play — for example, a clear, dry floor or level ground free of hazards. We may adjust or stop play if we judge a space unsafe.
5. Booking, payment and travel
• Quotes are sent after you submit a quote request and are valid for the date and details described. Prices marked "+" are starting prices; your final quote depends on group size, space and travel. Each additional hour is the fixed price shown on our website.
• We do not take deposits. Your date is confirmed only once payment is received. Until then another booking may take the date.
• We accept payment by cash, check or Venmo. Checks should be made payable to WatchOut, LLC.
• Travel within about one hour of Monroe, WI is included. Farther events may carry a travel charge, which will be shown on your quote.
• Events in a gym we rent: families may bring their own food and drinks. We do not provide refrigeration, heating or tableware, and we handle the gym cleanup.
6. Cancellations, weather and rescheduling
• Cancel 48 hours or more before your event: full refund, or reschedule for free.
• Cancel less than 48 hours before, for any reason other than weather: we keep $100 and refund the rest, or you may reschedule instead.
• Weather: if you have an indoor space, we will move the event inside where we can. Otherwise, weather reschedules are always free.
• If we have to cancel (for example because of illness, a safety concern or an equipment failure), you may reschedule or receive a full refund. We are not responsible for other costs you incur, such as venue fees or food.
• Open play tickets and league registrations may have their own refund rules, which will be shown when you register.
7. Photos and video
We sometimes take photos and video at events to share on our website and social media. You can opt out at any time by telling staff at the event or emailing us, and we will not use images of you or your child. If you see an image you want removed, email us and we will take it down. We do not post children's full names alongside their photos.
8. Insurance and limits on our responsibility
WatchOut carries general liability insurance and can list a school, church, venue or company as an additional insured on request.
To the extent Wisconsin law allows, WatchOut is not responsible for losses that are not caused by our negligence, including losses caused by a participant not following instructions, by the condition of a venue we do not control, or by the actions of other participants or third parties. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot legally be limited.
9. Our website and content
Our name, logo, photos and website content belong to WatchOut or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for commercial use without our written permission. Links to other sites (such as registration partners or social media) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the courts of Green County, Wisconsin. Please contact us first — most problems can be sorted out with a conversation.
